BuildAll Log

BuildAll Log

BuildAll Log files are created in the LOG folder of the buildroot when using the /buildall command line switch. These files list important statistics for each project built during the BuildAll.

The top of the BuildAll log lists:

  1. The date and time the log was created on
  2. The BuildPlus version being used for the builds
  3. The command line parameters used when starting the BuildAll

The log will then list the starting project of the BuildAll, and start reporting statistics for each individual project, separated by a dividing line of asterisks. Each project has the following information reported:

  1. Name of the project
  2. Date and time the project started building. (Useful for calculating the amount of time spent on a project, by comparing to the start timestamp of the next project)
  3. Versions of important components used - hyperlink and decomposer
  4. A success or failure message, depending on whether or not the project built properly
  5. A list of the current .dbdoc files in the project directory, with their versions listed. The entry at the top will be the newest version built during the BuildAll, and includes some important information in a note if any differences are detected.
    1. Thumbnails: The amount of new thumbnails detected in the file is reported
